Introduction: reproductive disorders alter the normal development of sexual cycles, generating infertility, delayed pubertes, litters with fewer pups, systemic commitments and even death, becoming a problem for owners and veterinary doctors. Objective: execute a systematic review of literature based on the search of scientific articles to identify the reproductive disorders that affect female dogs. Sources of Information: seven recognized databases (sciencedirect, proquest, redalyc, scielo, pubmed, springer link y google academic). Selection of studies: initially 202,287 scientific articles and bibliographic reviews, of which 1,724 duplicates will be eliminated, leaving 200,563 remaining articles, later 321 articles were selected and a final selection of 73 articles was made covering topics related to reproductive disorders in female dogs and met all the selection criteria. Exclusion criteria: 200.490 articles whose studies differed from canine species and female sex, language other than spanish, portuguese or english, year of publication less than 2010, publications whose content is not indexed and with topics of immunology, molecular biology and genetics were excluded. Results: for the drafting of the systematic literature review, 73 articles were selected according to the established criteria, congenital pathologies, acquired by iatrogenic events, bacterial and viral agents were identified, in addition to neoplasms and hormonal alterations. Conclusions: the use of diagnostic tools is necessary to achieve the correct identification of the presented pathology. additionally, the ovariohysterectomy at an early age is the best preventive method for this type of pathology, where the main presentations are voiced, ovarian cysts and mammary episodes, congenital type difference that occurs in few clinical cases.
