The objective of this research is to review studies on quality of life in the elderly in Ibero-America, which is useful for institutions that are responsible for providing services to improve the quality of life, both public and private institutions, had as objectives, identify and describe the studies on quality of life in older adults that have been carried out in Ibero-America in the last 20 years, identify countries, institutions, years, authors, types of studies that have been published on quality of life in older adults in Ibero-America and to identify and characterize study objectives, evaluation and intervention strategies that have been used, populations with which we have worked and main results, in the methodology a narrative review was carried out, interdisciplinary bibliographic sources were investigated and the studies were worked with on quality of life in the elderly in Ibero-America and community programs for To promote quality of life in adults, from the results found it was obtained that in the 50 publications reviewed, 39 are articles, 3 master thesis, 2 books, 2 bibliographic review, 1 undergraduate thesis, 1 postgraduate thesis, 1 thesis doctoral, 1 law, concluding that the countries with the highest production of Investigations were Colombia along with Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Uruguay Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Chile, and Argentina during the last 20 years.
