The present work of investigation realized a diagnosis of the competitiveness of the tourist sector of the agencies of Ibagué Tolima, this investigation is of quantitative approach, the type of investigation is not experimental and his scope is descriptive because it allows to realize a series of steps from the conception of the idea up to the analysis of results of the competitiveness of Ibagué agencies of tourism. According to the information provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Ibagué, there are 131 travel agencies; where a sample of 41 companies was determined and information from 33 agencies was obtained due to the health emergency in the world caused by COVID-19 it is not possible to go to each company to apply the instrument. The results allow us to determine the competitiveness of the Travel Agencies of 92%, highlighting that the management processes occupied 92% while the operational processes have a 75% implementation and support is 97%, which has been fully implemented.
