Resumen
The development of the work is divided into two main stages. The first part includes the evaluation of the state of the rigid pavement and the evaluation of the level of traffic registered by the railway avenue. And the second stage shows the reuse of the ash residue from sugarcane bagasse as a partial substitute in percentage of quantities of hydraulic cement, for the manufacture of new concrete mixtures, which can be implemented as a possible rehabilitation technique for the rigid pavement. Therefore, in the work, the evaluation and characterization of the pathologies in the rigid pavement of the road that is understood between streets 31 to 37 with railway avenue, west to east direction of the city of Ibagué department of Tolima, is evidenced, with a total length of study of 480 meters, of which they were divided into four (4) sections of 100 meters and one (1) section of 80 meters. In order to record the recurrence and severity level for each pathology identified in-situ in the INVIAS data collection format. The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is presented in each section, which is used to categorize the current state of the road between failed or very good, this is carried out with the implementation of the specific UN PCI 2016 software, and according to the index thrown, possible rehabilitation techniques are proposed for each section. The vehicular flow or service level demonstrates the importance and the demand of the road infrastructure for the city of Ibagué, which showed that 91.11% are automobiles, 5.39% are buses and 3.50% are trucks, for a total of 8,375 vehicles circulating in the week on the route of study. This allows for a concrete mix design that meets the demands presented on the road. The concrete that for this research was implemented as a possible eco-sustainable solution, was the implementation of sugarcane bagasse ash as a partial replacement in percentages of 0%, 10% and 20%, this due to factors such as cost reduction , reduction of the CO2 footprint and reuse of a material considered as waste. Which was made a mixture design based on previous results of tests carried out on the stone materials used for the shaping of the concrete, subsequently the shaping of 3 representative samples by indicated percentage is carried out, which failed according to the flexural modulus test. breakage at 7, 42 and 56 days after they were made, with their respective curing process.
