Introduction: Bibliographic review on articles on walking and elderly balance. Objective: To propose a Bibliographic Review for the area of Physical Education and related, in order to generate an optimal development of plans for prevention, intervention and rehabilitation generated by the detriment in terms of the Patterns of walking and balance in the Elderly. Method: Exploratory research is in turn a descriptive research. Taking into account variables of inclusion and exclusion: Place of the research, objective, measurement, sample, results, research journals, language of the research, qualification of the journal, type of journal, instruments, authors, bibliography. Population and sample: Research magazines. University research groups, Master's degree works, Doctoral theses, books. Instruments: Data collection protocol. Procedures: Define the research topic, contextualize the scope of the Research, research sources, create a database based on outstanding research from the previously mentioned research sources, implement variables in the database, determine the main variables , determine reliability data, justification, thus generating a methodological framework for the statistical analysis of the data: Describe the results of the statistics and the data analysis generated through the SPSS program. Cross tables: To be able to show the results obtained in broad strokes. Conclusions: The factors associated with loss of balance and deterioration of gait patterns in the elderly are: osteo - muscular diseases and sedentary lifestyle. Data revealed by the investigations whose objectives were intervention, evaluation and observation, since their results showed a mostly positive evolution when carrying out physical exercise protocols and injury rehabilitation.
