In this investigative work based on a literary review of narrative nature from a retrospective approach, we will take into account the various figures presented by the Red Nacional Forensis as a summation and complementation for the combination of the different phenomena in the general results of our study, however The classification of violence exposed in this will play an extremely important role in our investigative work. With the study, the aim is to characterize the phenomenon of homicide against women in the department of Magdalena, for which a comparative analysis of the period 2015 to 2019 was carried out. A documentary review was carried out, with a comparative descriptive statistical cut, on violence towards Women with a purpose characterizes violence against women in Magdalena from a retrospective perspective, from multiple sources and formalizing a body of ideas about the object of study to discover possible questions through the documentary procedure. A typification of violence against women will be developed taking into account contexts and social circles. Sampling from 2015 to the present year based on the management of primary, secondary and tertiary information sources that revolve around the history and current status of the different cases, coded by three matrices: findings, review and analysis of statistical data. It was found that although the figures shown by the Magdalena department are supremely lower compared to the most important departments in the country, the trend that has been presented is the maintenance of the phenomenon, highlighting significant increases between 2015 and 2017, and the presentation in this year until March, the last month reported by Red Forensis in its official publications.
