The Executive Functions (EF) are developed at the brain level allowing neuronal networks to be created that affect the minor, generating an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), also, the deterioration progresses as the individual evolves as it is generated increasing difficulties in information processing, interpersonal relationships, learning and affectivity. Therefore, the rise of this disorder in the world is such that this document compiles the results of the study whose objective was to identify executive functions in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in national and international territory, therefore, It was carried out under the qualitative approach with descriptive-phenomenological design, implementing as a tool a bibliographic review as a state of the art to a total of 30 scientific and academic documents published in the year 2000 to 2019 in database E-book, PsycCRITIQUES, redalyc .org, Scielo, Medline and Psicodoc, being located by keywords such as: executive functions, ADHD, memory and attention. However, the results obtained allow us to visualize the enactment of studies in countries such as Spain with 33% of publications, followed by Colombia with 17% and Mexico with 13%. As a conclusion, it is determined that the preparation of research in the Colombian State is lacking, therefore, it is essential to enact studies focused on strengthening theoretical and academic knowledge through publications as it will allow broadening the approach and attention to the community that suffers from the deficit
