Resumen
The upper area of the respiratory system is called the upper airway (VAS), the nasal cavity corresponds to the first portion of the airway and is a common space between the skull and the face. This cavity is made up of two parts, an anterior area called the nose or nasal pyramid and the posterior one, the nostrils. We also find the pharyngeal space or pharynx, which is the part of the digestive tract and the respiratory tract that forms the link between the nasal and oral cavities, on the one hand, and the esophagus and larynx, on the other. It extends from the base of the skull to the level of the VI - VII cervical vertebrae
