This master's degree project aims to assess the impact of learning strategies with ICT tools in the competence of reading comprehension in English of students in levels 1 and 2 of the Financial Management Program of the Technological University of Antioquia - University Institution. For this, a methodology with quantitative approach and descriptive scope with pre-experimental design was carried out. The measurement was made with a sample of 62 students, from groups of levels 1 and 2 of English of said institution. How techniques and instruments was applied a pretest based on a reading comprehension test to measure the performance of the students, whose results were an average of 48 % of success for level 1 and 2, that is, less than 50 %, while After the implementation of ICT strategies, the students, when performing the posttest, obtained an improvement in performance, reflected in 52.5 % (level 1) and 60 % (level 2) of success. This proves that ICT, based on the strategies applied, positively influenced the learning of reading comprehension and the literal and inferential levels of students.
