Resumen
Traffic accidents represent the first cause of death in young people between 20 and 30 years of age, a population that occupies a large part of the UCC community, the main causes that create the lack of road culture, the low perception of risk and disrespect for the traffic laws that exist in road users and especially in young people. The purpose of this Final Graduation Work is to propose a communication plan for the UCC community through an analysis of the current situation and the development of a communicative proposal that offers the institution a measure to support knowledge for new or old students about the traffic signs that are around you, and that will save a life. A procedure that contributes to elevate the road culture of the UCC community is theoretically based and consists of two phases: diagnosis, projection, and the execution and control phase, with surveys. The procedure becomes an instrument of easy application and generalization in other centers of higher education and as a contribution to the improvement of road safety and the reduction of accident rates and their consequences by raising the road culture and awareness of young university students.
