Resumen
Internship carried out at the CORBAN SAS interventory company located in the municipality of Acacias Meta where the work support was provided as an interventory resident, and in which the knowledge acquired during my professional training as a civil engineer at the Cooperative University of Colombia was applied. The functions and activities carried out included providing daily support and accompaniment in the activities programmed by the contractor in the construction processes of the bridge; sections of the tracks and boxculvert; review of the work logbook, which allowed verifying that it was correctly filled out every day; the documentary verification of social security was carried out, which would guarantee that the personnel on site had their respective social security up to date, their ARL and their contribution to a pension fund; the respective check was made to each worker to ensure that they had their respective personal protection elements (PPE); Support was given to the occupational safety and health professional when the workers were going to perform work at heights, verifying that they were equipped with their respective harness and slings. Weekly he had to deliver weekly reports, to the immediate boss, of work balances, of the amounts executed and percentages of work progress; Calculation memories were handled to be able to make the monthly report which is accompanied by work balances, cash flows and programming control. With the development of this practice, I was able to strengthen and increase the knowledge already forged in classrooms, acquiring autonomy and clarity when making decisions in the face of any circumstance presented at work; I also gained experience in monitoring and inspecting the contracted amounts, controlling the use of resources and thus bringing the works to fruition, complying with all quality and safety standards, from which a community will benefit.
