Resumen
The research, “The album book as a pedagogical tool to promote the development of the pragmatic component of language at the preschool level” was carried out at the Betulia Departmental Educational Institution located in the rural area of the municipality of Tena Cundinamarca. It aims to analyze the current status of the pragmatic component of language in preschool-level students, based on the implementation of an initial exploration proposal with album books. In this sense, the need arises from evidencing in pedagogical practices that it is appropriate to strengthen the contextual use of language and it is decided to do it through the use of a new pedagogical tool for the population, such as the album book, since that in this context there is no daily approach to it. As findings in the documentary review it is found that there are few investigations carried out in the rural area on this subject, therefore, it deepened especially in the rural zone, since our Institution is in this area. During the fieldwork carried out with the actors of the educational community: students, families and preschool teachers, it is possible to corroborate the need to generate a pedagogical proposal that allows teachers, families and students to be empowered in the development of conversational skills, as well as in taking turns, facial and body expression, the initiative to start, maintain and end a conversation, and the fluency in the speech of these preschool boys and girls. This research work aims to prevent future problems and difficulties in language, specifically in subsequent processes such as reading and writing related to the pragmatic component, in addition to promoting better social interactions with peers and adults, and facilitating oral and gestural expression among Boys and girls of preschool grades. The project is developed under a qualitative approach, a Participating Research method and a sociocultural epistemological perspective.
