In the research "Teaching strategies to improve the written production of second grade students of an official educational institution in Bucaramanga" the question that led the process was the following: What teaching strategies favor the written production of second grade students of an official educational institution Bucaramanga? And the general objective was to propose didactic strategies that favor the written production of second grade… It followed the general guidelines of the qualitative research with participatory approach. Analytical-synthetic and inductive methods were taken into account. The conceptual basis behind the analysis of the data and the proposal was based on the following authors: Jolibert and Jacob (1998) and Cassany, D (1989) for the concept of writing, Zabala (2008) with the concept of didactical sequels, Diaz, Barriga (1998) for the concept of teaching strategies and Ausubel (1976) and Moreira (2002) in meaningful learning. To achieve this objective, a writing test and a likes and dislikes questionnaire were conducted in order to identify students' knowledge and interests in writing. Then the didactical sequels were designed and applied the with different tools as guides and workshops. The children learned the structure of the story and fable and are located at level C on the Pérez Abril’s grid. They write complete sentences, segment and relate the facts of everyday life.
