The present study describes the relationship between social cognition and the theory of the mind in children with an autistic spectrum. A review of the scientific literature was carried out through the bibliography sheets that allowed a collection of information. The purpose of this project was to recognize the different positions on the advances between the relationship of the theory of the mind and social cognition in children who suffer from the autistic spectrum, to analyze different theories of different authors on both concepts looking for correlations directly between the same. Finally, it was found that if there is a relationship between the variables of social cognition and theory of the mind, because they confuse minors the abilities to develop in the social environment and be able to form interpersonal relationships in an appropriate way, since the individual may see as an entity in society and be aware of the distinction with other beings with the same capacity and other beings absent from this.
