A visual recognition of a flexible pavement was carried out in a study area belonging to the department of Tolima, specifically the Ibagué - Rovira route in the K8 + 000 to K8 + 500, in which a geo-referencing with GPS was formed, thus forming the coordinates of the points with abscissa every 20 meters, then an identification of pathologies found in the study area was made, based on the VIZIR methodology, then a visual determination of drainage condition was made to determine its current state, which influences the form and parts as such of a way. For this, different phases were carried out in which the information obtained from the visual and face-to-face recognition in the place is more in-depth, characterizing the pathologies found and thus determining their respective measures, typologies, and evaluation of seriousness; capturing each pathology in different formats, in addition to the drainage condition, its state is also reflected in a format to facilitate a visual inspection and the state as such of the study section of the road. Consequently, an AutoCAD drawing of the pathologies found on the track is developed every 20 meters; and then a projection is made in ArcGIS of the results obtained from the severities that the track contains for each lane. In another instance, a vehicular capacity was carried out, to analyze the density of vehicles by classifying them by type, which travel through the study route, in a continuous period of 12 hours in periods of 15 minutes since the frequency of vehicles is dense, This is done in order to know the projection of the route, capacity and level of service of the same, doing this in a software known as CNS 97. Finally, taking into account what has been said above, different intervention alternatives are proposed along the way for a possible improvement.
