Resumen
The economic, tourist and social development of both the region and the national, has been slowed by the lack of roads in good condition, this generates a reduction in the competitiveness of the region with respect to international markets, slows down the agrotourism development and stops Foreign investment. Over the years, the need for more durable, safer roads and in turn minimizing construction costs has been generated. The pavements are the structures that present the most wear and failure structures in a short period of time, this as a result of being exposed to the damages caused by the passage of traffic and being exposed to climatic conditions. Pavement structures are composed of stone materials from quarries and oil-derived bituminous materials, when the useful life of the pavements comes to an end or there is an activity of maintenance of the same, the wastes are polluting materials coming from the milling of the these routes, these must be assigned another provision to mitigate their negative impact on the environment. In view of the high costs that are generated when performing the pavement construction, the implementation of the recycling of the aforementioned waste materials, also known as RAP, is proposed, this generates a significant decrease in costs and in turn grants a reduction in the pollution generated by this type of practice. What is intended with this research is to carry out a characterization of the mixture of virgin materials and RAP, to carry out a series of combinations between said materials, in order to obtain optimal percentages so that the flooring mixture meets the physical-mechanical characteristics required by Colombian regulations for these designs.
