Resumen
The primary roads of the national territory have made great progress in a matter of engineering, so it is important to continue in this direction and from the academy contribute to their improvement, particularly the tertiary roads of the Department of Tolima, so that people living in rural areas have better communication with secondary roads. This is why I know conducted a study of two materials (PVC waste and rubber crushing), which today they are discarded on a large scale without having a control to mitigate the impacts that are generated when exposed to solar radiation and others agents present in the environment, on the other hand it is important to specify that , these materials last many years to decompose, and this is why that it was necessary to carry out studies that contribute to mitigate the problem exposed and additionally improve the tracks. In this context the laboratory tests are fundamental for the realization of this project, since they must be carried out taking into account the criteria established by the National Roads Institute (INVIAS). In order to determine the type of soil and its physical-mechanical properties present. The material was supplied by the Esmeralda Recebera Quarry, which is located at kilometer 7 road to Totumo. The most important test of those carried out was that of CBR is intended to improve the conditions of the affirmed, based on the results obtained by the same and so ensure which of the two materials is optimal for the improvement of affirmed
