This report contains the description of the ongoing investigation of the dynamic analysis with classical or uniform seismic excitation of beam - slab bridges focused on a case study the La Flora viaduct located in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia. It is intended to make a comparison of the dynamic responses through an analysis of responses in time (Time History), between a commercially licensed software (Sap2000) and one with free license (OpenSees), in interaction with the graphical interface (Gid + OpenSees ) developed by the international center of numerical methods in CIME engineering. This document presents the methodology obtained to date and follows the following order: First, the approach of the problem finding a regional level, followed by the sample of the influence of the computational tools applied to the field of structural engineering for the modeling of elements finite under static and dynamic analysis. Subsequently, describes the parametric analysis taking into account the viaduct properties, the numerical modeling, the load hypothesis. Finally, the expected results at the end of this investigation and the recommendations found so far.
