Business leadership is a subject of study that lives in constant analysis and progress, being a prominent issue from organizational psychology, since it is evident the study of the behavior of the followers of the leader together with the working group, the establishment of adaptive behaviors to the work environment, assertiveness in communication, in addition to being characterized by his abilities and aptitudes that allow him to obtain a recognized and functional performance for the company. The scientific evidence on business leadership, although recent, is evidence through a set of psychological, philosophical, political positions, sociological, religious, anthropological and biological. Constant research seeks identify the leader in the organization, this is how it has come to identify four models to recognize its functioning: focus of traits, approach of behavior, contingency approach and emerging approach. Within the research that underpins the issue of business leadership, is the theory of traits, perhaps being the oldest and most widespread, Kaufmann (1999; cited by (López M., 2013); considers that “a leader is one who has a set of qualities that allow you to achieve a position of dominance in any situation. Your success it may be due to the fact of having peculiar characteristics that induce others to want follow them ”(p. 6).
