Resumen
The Colombian Association of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ACOPI) is a business union that aims to defend the national production of the associated companies, with the tendency to strengthen their productivity, modernization and competitiveness. It is made up of companies from the agribusiness, manufacturing, commerce, services, etc. sectors. It acts before local, district and national public or private entities, which deals with economic, legal and union issues that may impact the interests of our affiliates. For this purpose, prepare studies, issue pronouncements and participate in forums and debates. They also monitor the behavior of Colombian industry and companies. (Acopi Bogotá-Cundinamarca, s.f.) As a background, SMEs due to changes in the conditions of the economy have been forced to replace strategies for the purpose of threats to new competitive demands, which represents a significant challenge for them because they have operational difficulties and In some cases, this is why an associative model is created that is proposed as a cooperation mechanism to achieve their objectives by creating value through the solution of common problems. (Liendo and Martínez, 2001)
