This article is a descriptive investigation based on the method of data analysis of 25 documents, where the objective was to identify how the psychological contract affects organizations. The term was reviewed over time, showing its changes and its most current concept, allowing to observe the relevance of this term for the welfare of the employee, and the organization, resembling the consequences of its compliance or violation in the different entities , obtaining a fundamental role in the concept, however, the term is difficult due to its subjectivity and lack of formality. As results, it is observed that various authors highlight the importance of the psychological contract in terms of productivity, fulfillment of tasks, and establishment of links and labor relations.
