Resumen
The present research seeks to evaluate the trend of fast food styles and consumption in the university communities of Villavicencio, emphasizing the customs and reasons of preferences for the use of mobile apps in the access to the purchase of fast food, for this purpose it was developed through a preliminary applied survey of 500 students from different programs and different universities of Villavicencio (Meta). Based on this diagnosis, the work seeks to develop a tool that helps students optimize the time they have for feeding. In that sense, with the digital media, mobile tools and smartphones, the latter was chosen as the most appropriate to develop the tool: a mobile app that fits the iOS and Android platform. The data was systematized in the R-Ward statistical software. This process resulted in students who find high preference in the development of a fast food app and show sales opportunity since it would be a useful technological means and would favor their needs in obtaining quality food and with comfort to obtain it in its place where its academic activities are developed.
