The objective of this project was to characterize the population undergoing simple exodontics at the dental clinic of the University Cooperativa de Colombia campus Pasto in the period 2017-II and 2018. In this study, we reviewed 83 available medical records in the 2017-ll and 2018-l period in the minor oral surgery clinic, the variables that were taken into account in this study were sex, origin, occupation, level of education, flossing and brushing frequency. The data was analyzed with the SPSS program. Results were found where the highest frequency of consultation was of the female gender with a percentage of 56.63%; of the occupation referred by the patients, it was found more frequently to be students with a percentage of 24.1%, while for the housewives and independent workers a percentage of 19.3% was found for each, in addition to Education levels were presented 32.53% of patients who do not report any study, 31.33% are high school students and 27.71% report having primary basic. Among the patients treated, it was found that 60.2% come from the urban sector of the city of Pasto, 6.0% from Buesaco and 2.4% from the rural sector of Anganoy and the municipality of Tambo. It was also found that the majority of patients with 66.27% do not use dental floss and 33.73% if they use it, and in terms of the frequency of brushing a higher percentage was presented with 31.33% for patients which are brushed two and three times a day, while 32.53% do not refer to how many times they brush.
