Given the sustained growth of the automotive fleet represented in motorcycles and users of this means of mobility transport in the City of Bogotá, especially in the middle and lower social strata, the proliferation of maintenance and repair workshops of informal type with negative effects on satisfaction of the client and the repercussions of costs and expenses in the family budget, a great opportunity was identified for the assembly of a motorcycle maintenance and repair company under standards of quality, responsibility and guarantee in the service. The proposed business plan began with the presentation of a proposal, which was endorsed by the faculty for further development as a degree option. In the first instance, the market research was carried out in order to establish its viability in terms of the characterization of potential customers, the offer or competition in the sector, the most effective channels for providing the service and thus propose the marketing plan as a key strategy of any business plan. The second component of the business plan is related to the analysis of the particularities and incidence of the technical variables, in this way the ideal site for the assembly of the motorcycle maintenance and repair company was identified as well as the size, flow of the process and requirements for assembly considering the potential market in Chapinero, the low supply of this business site in the sector and the availability of resources for project financing. The third aspect of the business plan raises the strategic direction of the future company, as well as its corporate identity and organizational structure, as well as the description of processes for the formalization and development of its corporate purpose. This allowed to consolidate the strategic conception of the future company as a strategic entity and with clear objectives for the fulfillment of its corporate purpose. Finally, from the establishment of a financial scope and approach, the projection of the main financial statements was made for the calculation of the economic-financial evaluation indicators considering a five-year horizon, in order to make decisions and assess their feasibility as a profitable and sustainable project. The final result of the approach of this business plan in all its technical and methodological phases allowed a strengthening of the competencies that a business administrator must possess to face the work and professional life. Similarly, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship are fundamental strategies to strengthen the university-productive sector link, as an alternative of social projection, a fundamental pillar of higher education, especially in the field of business sciences. On the other hand, thanks to the advice and guidance of a successful way received by the University through its teaching staff and methodological advisor, were fundamental conditions to achieve the structuring of this business plan that is part of our life project and which was raised and proposed as a result of the participation and permanent support of our adviser delegated by the institution and the faculty
