The subject matter of the present investigation is focused on determining first of all whether women victims of sexual violence in the Municipality of Acacias Meta are being treated according to both international norms and national legislation. Similarly examine the performance of the State through its institutions, and how they have raised public policies in terms of compensation for rights and guarantees in that population. The methodology used is given in qualitative form or type, with a descriptive approach emphasizing the same experience that the victims have had over time, the methods used in the collection of information were the normative, jurisprudential and bibliographical references that during this time they are considered as a reference. International conventions were taken into account, such as the Lieber Code of 1863, the Second Hague Convention of 1899, the Fourth Hague Convention of 1907, the Geneva Conventions of 1948 and the Rome Statute of 1998 which give rise to The creation of the International Criminal Court represents a very important advance in the recognition of sexual violence as an international crime.
