The pressing need for quality in the provision of health services is a determining factor as a fundamental requirement for the preservation of the population. Standardization in different health systems requires economic governmental balances and normativities, capable of establishing improvement mechanisms that are reflected in social mobility, improving the different physical conditions, new habits that citizens preserve, to optimize the condition and quality of life. lifetime. The current situation in the systematization of the health sector falters in its impulse to supply at this time the demands of growth and sustainability of the population in terms of quality of care, assurance in financial sustainability, improvement in general health conditions in the different segments of stratification and typification of childhood, older adult and terminal illnesses and the improvement in the recovery of trust and legitimization of the system. For this reason, it is considered important to make the efforts that are available to the different tools, in this case of an educational nature to achieve the improvement of quality standards. One of the problems of analysis in this area is the main lack of efficient management and management systematization in the health sector. The academic training in the growth and advancement of high quality higher education plays a decisive role in the improvement of the administration processes of the different resources in this sector. The need for an improvement in the training of new demands today, requires professionals who specialize in the innovative challenges that are presented over time and that visualize into the future. The research was implemented under the descriptive methodology, taking into account the quantitative identification as a study objective, applying the instrument in the form of a survey to 100 people from 70 health entities such as EPS, IPS and hospitals. The study also allowed to identify the ignorance of the population about specializations in health areas that are taught in public and private universities in the municipality of Villavicencio, where they currently only recognize specializations of this sector in 2 universities. It also highlights an interest in blended and virtual programs, with availability to study especially on weekends. Regarding the results of the study of relevance of the specialization in Quality Management and Health Audit, it is recommended to implement this postgraduate program at the Villavicencio headquarters, in accordance with the results obtained from the analysis of the information collected and the favorable perception in the environment.
