Resumen
This guide will be carried out due to the importance of bereavement in relatives with terminal patients with cancer, since being diagnosed and carrying out the treatment brings with it a great psychological affectation for the patient and his family. With this guide you can count on strategies to face the anticipated grief in the family members and the major effects that this process generates. It is important to talk about grief where it is defined as ‘the set of emotions, mental representations and behaviors associated with emotional loss, frustration or pain (Tizón JI 1996)’; Therefore, it is established that early mourning is the beginning of the process of acceptance of death and farewell, this is where the mourner can think about the deceased without having a strong sense of pain. The anticipated grief produces an initial shock and a denial that usually lasts until death, is where the opportunity is offered to share the feelings and prepare for the loss. In the same way it is important to name women diagnosed with cancer, where 'cancer and its treatments produce multiple losses that generate grieving processes in various dimensions of the life of the sufferer (Fonnegra de Jaramillo (2001)', for them these Cancer types generate a grieving process, in which their physical appearance is affected, the concept of body and sexuality changes. Based on the above, the main objective of this project is to generate strategies for family members of women diagnosed with cancer, have a guide to carry out this process.
