The present work was developed in the commercial and marketing area, it was done in order to have an updated database of regulars and new clients. This type of work is done to have clarity of each of the marketing areas which include databases, social networks and the official website of the Hotel Dulima. In this area, functions such as advice and training are also developed every time there are business events, the function is to train workers so that they have clarity of the things they should do in each event. The main feature is to have clarity of the functions that must be developed to achieve an excellent operation of the marketing part, helping in commercial and operational tasks such as: E-mail marketing, Booking portals, customers with benefits, customers with agreement, regulars and potentials. The realization of this business practice was done in order to know in depth the operation of the commercial area, this allowed to identify each of the weak points and the strengths that the organization has. On the other hand, to establish each one of the tasks to be carried out in order to carry them out completely without leaving one apart from another, to deepen and investigate in depth each of the functions that each company has to acquire benefits and be able to be in agreement with the Hotel. During the field investigation it was known that several companies had not updated their data for more than 7 years, this leads to telemarketing where it can be confirmed that they were still in operation and had not changed legal representative, if so, a request is made. update of each of the documents among which is: Ruth, Chamber of Commerce, ID card of the legal representative and report of central of irrigation (data credit). When carrying out this telemarketing work, it was discovered that several companies no longer invoiced at the Hotel and did not wish to continue doing so for internal issues of each organization, in this way each folder was removed from the database. The purpose of this work is to differentiate each database, since there are several such as the municipalities of each municipality of Tolima, governorates, regulars, new clients, among others. The private accommodation database of the Hotel has several features including knowing each client's preferences to know what to offer the day the guest stays there, also has the option of the date of birth this is done in order to congratulate personally or through e-mail marketing all the people who stay at the Hotel. In the first part, there is a deepening of the foundation and creation of the Dulima Hotel in the city of Ibagué, corporate values, mission, vision, sustainability policy, organization chart, etc. are shown. The second part talks about the objective of business practice. The third part is based on the functions to be developed with topics such as: having in-depth knowledge of the company and its business name, as well as developing the knowledge of databases of potential customers and companies. which intervened the 3 portfolios of Management, Reception and Marketing, to make a respective update in terms of images of the rooms, lounges, restaurant and "Bar Indiana", also an update of prices and services offered by the Dulima Hotel. In the operational support, operational support was developed regarding the electronic pages that the Hotel manages, one of them called Booking is a portal specialized in online reservations, these can be done from anywhere in the world. In the fourth part, prospecting visits were made to clients randomly and taking into account the area of coverage, e-mail marketing, business agreements and data updates
