Trypanosomiasis is a hemoparasitic disease caused by an extracellular protozoan that causes numerous mortalities, affecting a great variety of mammals, the affected animals show a great variety of signs and symptoms, among these, marked anemias due to the lysis of the erythrocytes that generates the pathogenic agent , marked lymphocytosis and neutrophils that reflect greater amounts of cells in band; This is caused by some of the different sub species of Trypanosoma sp, among the most common Tripanosoma evansi which mainly affects equines, cattle and other animals and is caused by specimens of the family Tabanus sp. Who acts as a biological vector; Trypanosoma cruzy is also found to cause Chagas disease in humans and is transmitted mainly by contact with feces or urine infected with triatomine insects commonly known as whitetips.
