The present document has as a result of a qualitative research with documented, observed, analyzed and interpreted evidences where artistic methodologies are used "stories" to explore the narrative, in the identification of the process of construction of the meaning of the family developed by a group Of children who are attending primary school. Taking into account the concept of family as the union of a group of people who share consanguinity and psycho-affective ties that allow establishing a relationship based on roles and hierarchies of power with a particular and harmonious development where each member who Make up the group's functioning, also the identification of these roles and the hierarchies allow a construction of the meaning of the family in the lowest and how this has integrated that concept to the discourse that has elaborated until the present age.
