Resumen
The armed conflict developed in the country, specifically what happened in the city of Barrancabermeja has left an indelible mark on the history of the city as in the victims of the conflict. This has caused that many of the more than 48,000 victims registered in the oil port have not been able to be repaired, or although those that the state considers have been repaired, they feel that this repair has been done halfway or they did not give them the support, tools or guarantees to overcome the conditions in which they have had to live on occasion to war. This investigation was focused in order to know the importance of the reparation of the economic, social and cultural rights of the victims of armed conflict carried out in the municipality of Barrancabermeja, as expressed by the majority of the victims was that they were granted a one-time economic benefit and that after this the state left them to their fate, without even providing comprehensive support, it should be mentioned that, when the repair ends up focusing solely and exclusively on the material, it causes pernicious effects on the population that he receives it, among these it is possible to point out the decrease in self-esteem, confidence and hope and the appearance or increase of feelings of guilt that leads to the perception of money received as humiliation or “easy money”, which exacerbates the damages and impacts generated by the victimizing facts and does not dignify. In the Colombian context, these statements acquire materiality, since many victims mean reparation as a charity that does not repair and perceive themselves as recipients of a “help” from the State without achieving, before it or through it, recognizing as subjects of rights, whose fulfillment is a duty of the State (Villa, 2013, 2014).
