Resumen
The purpose of this study is to diagnose the levels of light intensity present in practical learning environments, perform a detailed characterization of the classrooms to know the current status of the luminary and the health consequences of the people who use them. How they influence their academic performance. The measurements of the levels of illumination were made with a professional measuring instrument DT-8809A calibrated and certified by laboratory, also complies with the Colombian regulations in force in the Technical Regulation of Lighting and Public Lighting (RETILAP). The measurements were made in four schedules (morning, noon, afternoon and night), were carried out in twenty-seven rooms, eighteen points were raised, obtained a total of one thousand nine hundred and forty-four (1,944) data, were subsequently tabulated, graphed and analyzed to determine the average general lighting of each classroom. The results indicated that there are APA "Practical Learning Environments" that do not comply with the Colombian regulations regarding Industrial Safety and Occupational Health, which specify the inadequate conditions presented by the academic media.
