The Cooperative University of Colombia has promoted education in solidarity economy and Cooperativism in all its academic programs, it is for all students an opportunity to collaborate with the community in rural development with a cooperative nature; The mission of this project is to train in Sibaté, a cooperative of farmers and / or merchants in order to strengthen their social and economic capacities, to face the challenges of agriculture within a globalized world, to contribute to the reduction of poverty rates that overwhelm the Colombian and Sibateño countryside. However, for the development of the idea linked to Solidarity entrepreneurship, the support of teachers and tutors of the Solidarity Monitors degree modality was provided, who provided their support in order to carry out all the ideas proposed within the projects . It was for this reason that it was developed within the municipality of Sibaté, more than three meetings with the agricultural community interested in being part of the founders of the Cooperative whose name is SIBATEÑA DE AGRICULTORES MULTIACTIVE COOPERATIVE with stands for COOPSIAGRO; More than 30 people took part in its formation, but due to the fact that in the field they work in a family society, they mostly chose one or a representative, who would be an associate of COOPSIAGRO. Within this process, there was also the support of the Confederación Empresarial del campo de Colombia (Confecampo), providing the community with the basic course in cooperativism required by Dansocial for the formation of the cooperative, in addition to offering their collaboration for said project have solidity in your services in the future. Since cooperativism pursues mutual aid, it is intended that solidarity training allows the project to be advanced by consolidating it and forming the agricultural cooperative, giving it greater dynamics as a viable Rural Development Company, so that it thus becomes an institution of regional impact that contribute to improve the economic and social conditions of its associates. It is for this reason that the solidarity project carried out with the farmers, in addition to being a project of degree option with a cooperative sense, has become a life project for the entire work team
