Resumen
This report of intervention and university social action, gives an account of the process carried out with children from 7 to 13 years of age of the Bosa locality in the neighborhood La Pantry of Bogotá, through the Cooperative Children's Club Building a Better Future. The theories of some authors who expose on the subject and give the initial guideline to carry out the interventions in the community were based. At the same time, the context of the sector in which children are involved, the types of establishments that exist and in general the quality of life that both children and parents lead are shown. For the development of the project, a participatory methodology was used where the children were a fundamental basis in the process every Saturday, interacting actively with the monitors and their peers. Basically, the purpose of the work is to comply with the goals established for each session with the community, where the promotion of cooperativism in children of that locality, the promotion of associativity in all its aspects, both socio-economic and cultural, prevail and environmental, in addition to support for the youth movement promoted by the Cooperative University of Colombia. The above, always framed in the growth and strengthening of the Cooperative Children's Club. Later, the schedule of activities was prepared as an action plan to be carried out every Saturday, which was directly linked to the fulfillment of the objectives set and with which the expected results were established at the end of the process. Throughout each intervention, different activities were carried out with the children, where their behavior, their tastes, their way of being and their leadership in society were observed. The main dynamics that were carried out were the elaboration of the ecological piggy bank, with which it was sought to promote integration in children taking into account the cooperative principles and values and at the same time encouraging savings and recycling as a fundamental part of a society. In general, activities aimed at promoting teamwork, mutual aid, solidarity and family values were carried out. Delivering practical and effective solutions to these people is a challenging challenge, in order to obtain personal and educational satisfaction, since the contributions that can be made from the Solidarity Monitors program, especially with the members of the Cooperative Children's Club Building a Better Future, they will be of great value for the improvement of the quality of life of these children and in the process they will be helping the integral growth of the town of Bosa, since this support is part of the social responsibility we have as human beings and students of the Cooperative University of Colombia
