Resumen
From the analysis of the discourse of 6-year-old boys and girls who are enrolled in the zero-preschool grade, of an educational center in Bogotá, it was identified what elements are present in racial prejudice, when they choose a playmate. The method used included dolls designed with features that characterize Afro-descendants, indigenous people and whites or mestizos, where hair and the color that would identify the skin were fundamental. The symbolic game was free although it included a guideline by the researcher, the interaction with the dolls was recorded and analyzed according to the criteria of the discourse analysis. In the results it was found that the most chosen were the dolls with white features, in which the boys and girls admired the long and colored hair. On the other hand, the dolls with afro traits were the least chosen and who were later attributed negative characteristics, “being black is ugly”, “the bad”, “She is the witch”, causing fights and that the partners did not They want to play with an equal that has dark skin color. It was possible to identify that from a young age, racial prejudice is framed in a concept emitted by physical characteristics.
