Resumen
The success of all bovine exploitation starts from the reproductive efficiency of its herd, in which it is considered that the efficiency not only depends on the role that the female plays but in a greater part it is the reproductive bull. Consequently, the importance of the male bovine in the herds of the low tropics, it is decided to show the effects of heat stress and nutrition on male fertility, with heat stress being the main cause of infertility, causing the decrease of libido and sperm quality, to produce the death and degeneration of intratesticular sperm. The poor nutritional management of animals is another important factor in the generation of infertility in the bovine male, because the excess and / or deficiency of nutrients cause multiple alterations in the reproductive function, which leads to great economic losses in the productive systems.
