Colombia for more than sixty (6) decades has suffered the consequences of armed conflict; conflict that has beenover flowingin recent years by the intervention of new actors who have transformed it, generating more complex social and environmental conflicts, hence this document aims to develop documentary research that gathers information about social and environmental conflicts, which are part of the emerging categories that emerge from the research "Peacewith territorial approach: community practices and perceptions in three municipalities of the middle cupcake. Supplies for a social agenda". Documents and research that have been carried out and published in the last fifteen years (2004 – 2018) regarding the impact of the conflict on the social and environmental context, with a full overview of twenty (20) documents. It was worked under the qualitative-descriptive approach specifying the properties of the phenomenon that has been subjected to analysis, (social and environmental conflict). Sources were related and compared to critically analyze the information gathered on the subject in question. The socio-economic status and environmental damage generated in these three (3) municipalities Barrancabermeja (Santander), Puerto Boyacá (Boyacá) and San Pablo (Bolívar), the participation of the actors involved in the armed conflict, impact the country, and therefore to the whole world, forcing the State from being a mere observer to actively engaging in the implementation of measures that contribute to safeguarding the rights of the population and minimise the effects of armed conflict.
