Resumen
The poultry industry is growing rapidly due to the high number of consumers in the world, especially the layer of laying hens, as the egg, in addition to its affordable price, is a source of protein, amino acids, vitamins and fatty acids of high nutritional value. For this reason, there is a need to look for alternatives to replace or supplement the diets of laying hens, in order to have a better quality egg and at the same time try to reduce the cost of production. During this review, three different trials of inclusion or supplementation of raw materials of vegetable origin were taken in the diet of laying hens, all with the purpose of identifying the effects that they could have with respect to egg quality. These three raw materials were Curcumin, Raw Beans and the Adventitious Ginseng Root. The tests carried out by the different researchers on these three raw materials were taken, which shared close ages in the cycle of the birds in their experiments and their main focus was to measure egg quality during the experimental period. The results obtained in the different trials varied greatly, an example of this was the trial with curcumin, which showed positive results in the antioxidant effect of the egg, which ensures a longer time of conservation of nutrients over time, as long as prudent inclusion percentages are administered. In the case of the essay with Raw Beans, it was possible to identify that the incorporation in the diet of the hens together with adjuvant enzymes is possible and will be reflected more in an increase of the production than in the quality of the egg, as long as quantities less than 50% of the mixture are administered. Finally, in the study carried out with the Adventitious Root of Gingseng, it was possible to identify which inclusions around 1 -2% in the diet of the hens, can improve egg production rates thanks to the immunostimulatory, hepatoprotective and antioxidant activities that it possesses. the RAG flour. The effect was more noticeable in% of production than in egg quality itself. However, as in the other trials, the theory is shared that the limits of inclusion should not be exceeded in order to obtain positive results in the different productive parameters of the birds. From this review, it remains as a suggestion, to continue with the investigation around these raw materials, but varying the experimental conditions.
