This research aimed to identify the attitude and perception of the primary teacher of children and adolescents with special educational needs (SEN), the Municipality of Barrancabermeja, participating eight professors of the Technical Institute of Communication (INTECOBA) headquarters and F (Fermin Amaya and Buenos Aires) of elementary school who agreed voluntarily to share in this investigation. The methodological design of this research is descriptive, with a mixed approach that allows for an interpretation of the quantitative results obtained in implementing the "questionnaire of teacher perceptions about inclusion" and the qualitative interpretation of the answers given in the work of direct observation and semi-structured interview; The results show that teachers in that institution do not have the training, resources and personal support to work with students who have a SEN evidenced in the high percentage of the attitudes of skepticism about the process of inclusive education in the classroom regular. It is necessary to thoroughly review the inclusive education program, the applicability of it within the educational institution and the practice of teaching to effectively give the performance of the process of inclusive education.
