Resumen
This project presents the visual inspection, identification and characterization of pathologies on the pavement of the K7+000 up to the K8+000 (sector vereda los Cauchos) of the Ibagué- Rovira road, in order to obtain a visual sample of the pathological status of the pavement asfaltic of the corresponding area to be analyzed. For the topographic survey, the corresponding section was distributed in different sections of 20m each. Thus giving a better reference and a more specific detail to the problems presented in the way. The process of determining the condition of an asphalt pavement was from the visual inspection of its surface, which is in optimal condition to apply in the project generating a characterization of conditions and damage found in the pavement of the corresponding section, analyzed and cataloguing each type of damage existing in it. To carry out the inventory of deteriorations with an abscissate every 100 m. In this project the analysis, interpretation and collection of field data was carried out, photographic inspection was carried out on each pathology found every 10 m to know the type of damage, its degree of severity and area, and thus propose alternative solutions, evidence of the degree of affectation of the asphatic pavement. As a result of the project was concluded The influential failure in the determination of the road status of the VIZIR classification, are the cracks crocodile skin (FPC) with 40% of the road mesh affected, being a structural type fault ""A"" and the loss of binder with a 97 %, this does not influence for the VIZIR classification because it is a type ""B"" damage and is characterized by its functional condition and its cause is found by the natural aging of the pathway.
