Resumen
Cooperatives are non-profit institutions, whose purpose is the collective well-being of a group of people who decide to associate, managing to meet their own needs in a more participatory way. Based on this concept, we determine the importance of the business administration students of the Colombia-based cooperative university in Bogotá, creating a common bond, through association with a credit union, as an alternative economic plan that allows them to be prepared to the investment opportunities in the course of his career, as to the needs that may arise, managing to conquer a culture of savings as the principle of a good administrator. The market study demonstrates the degree of acceptance and perspectives that students have regarding the project to create a credit union. It gives us true information to build conclusions and establish strategies that allow proper functioning on the project horizon. The technical study shows a model of the organizational structure with which the cooperative will work, at the same time the administrative policies that will facilitate decision-making will be established and describes the most appropriate processes that will be carried out in the different activities of the cooperative association. The financial study establishes the costs incurred with the project, presents an economic and financial analysis that will determine budgets, investment projections, income and expenses. This in order to predict the liquidity and profitability that allows the self-sustainability of the cooperative.
