Synchronization protocols are used to improve reproduction in cattle, in order to reduce open days, optimize artificial insemination, homogenize deliveries and sales batches. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the excess fat (GS) synchronized with the CIDR-Synch protocol in the La Argentina farm located in the San Rafael village of the municipality of Arauquita - Colombia. Ten duly palpated mixed breed bovine females were synchronized, with a body condition of 3.5 to 4 on a 1-5 scale, with an interval of 60 to 90 days postpartum, between 3 to 5 years of age, they were divided into two groups, with ( G1) five animals that were the control group and (G2) the remaining ones, the animals of (G1) received 100 grams of Fat surpassing day, for 25 days. For the realization of this study, the CIDR-Synch synchronization protocol was carried out, accompanied by fat exceeding. And as a result in 100% of the two groups I have a heat response. To the group (G1) I present 60% of pregnancy and the group (G2) A 40% Confirming the pregnancy by means of transrectal palpation at 60 days after artificial insemination at a fixed time.
