Resumen
The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between work stress and coping strategies in public service drivers working in Bogotá and the Municipality of Chía; By means of a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, the sample consisted of 45 male drivers between the ages of 21 and 59. A descriptive correlational design was used, in which two instruments were applied; the Modified Coping strategies scale (EEC-M) and the Questionnaire for stress assessment. As a result, it is found that coping strategies seeking social support (rho = .331 p <0.05) and problem solving (rho = -.304 p <0.05) are significantly related to the work stress of drivers, it was also found that the strategies less used by drivers are autonomy with 55.6%, expression of difficulty with 46.7%.
