In this research, attitudes and perceptions about the inclusion in 19 primary school teachers of a rural educational institution in the municipality of Barrancabermeja are identified. For this, the mixed methodology was used with the approach of the Concurrent Nested or Concurrent Design of Dominant Model (hereinafter DIAC); For the collection of information, semi-structured interviews, direct observation and the teachers' perceptions questionnaire about inclusive pedagogy were used as techniques. The results show that teachers have little information on the issue of disability and inclusion in the school classroom and highlight the need for training in the knowledge of disabilities and intervention from the particularity to implement pedagogical actions that encourage learning. Recognize and support the importance of carrying out awareness and education work with the entire educational community; For this reason, the research carried out will favor the establishment of a comprehensive system of permanent education and training in resolutions, decrees and laws that safeguard educational inclusion and pedagogical knowledge on the subject in question. Likewise, the modification or revision of the curriculum is proposed, considering the possibility of implementing intervention strategies and specific evaluation for each student with a disability
