The small banana producers in the Department of Magdalena have the problem that individually they can not sell their production directly in international markets, since they do not have the infrastructure and the export cost is very high for the acquired profits. In this sense, the present work has the objective of identifying the internalization strategies in the cooperatives of the banana sector of the Department of Magdalena. Definitions and contributions include authors such as Santander and Salcedo (2003), Arias (2018), Rodríguez (1998), Murillo (2001), Villalobos (2008), Issa S. (2013), Guzmán and Sánchez (2018) between others. The methodology implemented was the systematic analysis of literature, a type of documentary research was used, with a non-experimental and transectional design, which allowed the consultation of different bibliographical sources that generated a new focus in this work. As a result, it was found that cooperatives in the banana sector are implementing internationalization strategies that in the future may allow you to market their products directly. Strategic guidelines were proposed so that cooperatives in the banana sector of the Magdalena Department can market their products directly in international markets.
