The purpose of the investigation was to specify the different variables that allows the discrimination of the administrative process competences (planning, organization, leading and control), as well as to show the abilities that have an influence in a specific group of managers. It is a descriptive, qualitative and field investigation. The participants were 30 managers from different companies in Bogota with more than five years of experience. The instrument used was a questionnaire composed by a group of abilities that are developed in the administrative field. The collected data was submitted to descriptive statistics. With the cluster analysis the administrative process abilities were grouped together. Five descriptive and continuous analyses were carried out and this allowed the study and the establishment of the four administration stages. The most and the least relevant competences were detected in each one of the four processes, mentioned before, through the use of tables, bar charts and pie charts.
