The purpose of the research is to determine the level of academic stress in postgraduate students of the Faculty of Education, at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia - UCC, Bogota, based on the analysis of sociodemographic variables and identifying the cognitive systemic inventory of academic stress, different stressors, symptoms and coping strategies that students perceive in a situation of physical or psychological discomfort, the study is carried out with a sample of 216 postgraduate students, of a quantitative, correlational, non-experimental type, where it is evident that This population is at a level of high average stress with 72%, taking into account these results an educational proposal focused on the learning of techniques of management of academic stress.
