According to Mayoclinic (2017), agoraphobia is "a type of anxiety disorder in which is afraid of places or situations that could cause panic and produce the feeling that is being trapped, helpless or ashamed, so the individual avoids this kind of places or situations that generate this sensation ". As for the anguish, Pau Martínez Farrero (1961), indicates "Anguish unleashes changes metabolites similar to those triggered by fear: increased muscle tension and of cardiorespiratory rhythm, sweating, feeling of tightness in the chest, etc. At the same time,both sensations generate restlessness and lead to alertness. " Likewise, the anguish It is the name that is used when you can not specify what is due; this is why important to keep in mind that anxiety or distress may occur together, for few seconds or minutes, or continuously and stay present for a long time frame. Taking into account the above definitions, it is established as the objective of the present study to approach a clinical case, where it has been determined as a diagnostic criterion of anxiety with agoraphobia, for which a therapeutic approach was made from the therapy cognitive-behavioral study where a functional behavioral analysis was made to analyze the details prior to the current discomfort.
