The purpose of this study was to identify the influence or relationship that memory - attention cognitive processes have and school failure, where the first, memory - attention, was evaluated with the neuropsychological battery Neuropsi Attention and Memory, and the second, failure school, with statistics delivered by the educational institution; Second-cycle students (third and fourth grade of primary school) of Guillermo Cano Isaza district school, day tomorrow, located in the city of Ciudad Bolívar in Bogotá D, C; which was used as the main instrument the Neuropsi Attention and Memory neuropsychological battery, which explores two areas through a set of tests; the area of attention and executive functions, attention and concentration, working memory, the area of memory that is evaluated through the coding stage and the evocation stage. Regarding the statistics delivered by the institution for the loss of the areas of Mathematics and Spanish at the general level of 2013 and at the second cycle level We used a quantitative methodology with a correlational design, to show the influence that memory has - attention with the subjects of Spanish - Mathematics for the present work.
