The Occupational Health and Safety Management System, according to the resolution 1016 of 1989, refers to the guidelines that lead to the development of Preventive Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Hygiene and Industrial Safety; therefore the development of SG-OSH programs, ensures the active participation of each of the employers and workers of the organization. Nowadays, every company must have a Safety and Health Management System at Work, because this type of systems allows the control of each one of the processes and they constitute the main axis of any economic activity. The good performance of workers depends entirely on these two aspects, therefore employers must implement these types of systems that reduce all types of risks in the workplace. Work performance should be aimed at seeking the integral well-being of workers, and for this, clear guidelines must be established regarding occupational health and safety in order not to create imbalances in the work environment and maintain a safe and healthy environment. The present work framed within the option of practical business degree proposes the proposal of a management system of health and safety at work, for the company Enlaces del Caribe SAS. In it we present theoretical and legal foundations that govern the regulations for their proper application according to Colombian law
